Cobb Water System customers are billed monthly for water and sewer fees. A Cobb water representative comes on location and reads the of the water meter to determine consumption.

4,000-15,000........................................$3.59 / per thousand gallons
16,000-29,000......................................$4.47 / per thousand gallons
30,000-49,000......................................$5.24 / per thousand gallons
50,000 and above................... .........$6.80 / per thousand gallons
Non-Residential....................................$3.53 / per thousand gallons
Irrigation..............................................$6.80 / per thousand gallons

Effective 10/1/08 the Cobb County Water System has adopted a new rate schedule, including a five tier conservation rate billing structure. Previous rates were maintained for the first tier (0-3,000 gallons).Increased water rates apply to usage in excess of 3,000 gallons. For example, if you use 6,000 gallons of water in a month, 3,000 will be charged the conservation (first tier) rate of $2.47 per thousand gallons and 3,000 will be charged at the second tier rate of $3.59 per thousand gallons.

Delinquent Accounts/Discontinued Water Service
All residential customers will be charged $30 for returned checks.
Customers will be assessed a $10.00 late fee 10 days after the bill due date.
In the event of service termination due to non-payment a $50.00 reconnect fee will be required prior to service restoration.
To make a payment in order to have your service restored, please call (770) 423-1000 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If payment is not made before 6:00 p.m. on a business day or, is made on-line or on the interactive voice phone system, we will not be able to restore service until the following business day.
