Cobb Water System customers are billed monthly for water and sewer fees. A Cobb water representative comes on location and reads the consumption of the water meter.

4,000-15,000........................................$3.59 / per thousand gallons
16,000-29,000......................................$4.47 / per thousand gallons
30,000-49,000......................................$5.24 / per thousand gallons
50,000 and above.................................$6.80 / per thousand gallons
Non-Residential....................................$3.53 / per thousand gallons
Irrigation..............................................$6.80 / per thousand gallons

Effective 10/1/08 the Cobb County Water System has adopted a new rate schedule as part of the five tier conservation rate billing structure. This includes a reduction in the upper limit of the first tier of the current structure.
The increased water rates apply to usage in excess of 3,000 gallons. For example, if you use 6,000 gallons of water in a month, 3,000 will be charged the conservation (first tier) rate of $2.47 per thousand gallons and 3,000 will be charged at the second tier rate of $3.59 per thousand gallons.

Delinquent Accounts/Discontinued Water Service
All residential customers will be charged $30 for returned checks or for delinquent payments.
To make a payment in order to have your service restored, please call (770) 423-1000 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If payment is not made before 7:00 p.m. on a business day or, is made on-line or on the interactive voice phone system, we may not be able to restore service until the following business day.
