Fire Flow Test
If you are required to have a Fire Flow Test prior to development plan approval, please follow the procedures aslisted below (NOTE: CCWS can only test fire hydrants on public r.o.w. within its jurisdiction):
- Submit the attached application with all applicable data to the Cobb County Water System, Engineering & RecordsDivisionalong with:
- It may take up to three (3) weeks to complete the Fire Flow Test, depending on weather and other factors. A Fire Flowtest is required for all projects. Copies of the Fire Flow Test must be shown on the plans. Test cannot be over 6 months old. The 24 hour clock will not be provided by Cobb County. The Design Engineer will be responsible for providing a24hour pressure recording if/when required by the Fire Department.
- Construction plans can not be approved without the Fire Flow Test results being on the water plans. Please consider thiswhen preparing your development schedule.
