Cobb Water System customers are billed monthly for water and sewer fees. The water meter is read monthly to determine the consumption.

Effective 10/1/08 the Cobb County Water System has adopted a new rate schedule, including a five tier conservation rate billing structure. Previous rates were maintained for the first tier (0-3,000 gallons). Increased water rates apply to usage in excess of 3,000 gallons. For example, if you use 6,000 gallons of water in a month, 3,000 will be charged the conservation (first tier) rate of $2.47 per thousand gallons and 3,000 will be charged at the second tier rate of $3.59 per thousand gallons.
